This combo class of dynamic aqua exercises + flowing, sequential yoga poses adapted for the water will energize and center. You'll be encouraged to work to your personal exertion level as you move & groove to strengthen your muscles, enhance cardio power & flexibility.
TABATA sets, consisting of 8 rounds of high-power exercises in a specific 20-seconds-on, 10-seconds-off interval, will be included and the class will occasionally work out in the deep end with the use of buoyancy equipment.
The last 20 minutes of class will be devoted to Aqua-Yoga, transitioning you into your day more energetic, motivated & clear minded. Varied, high-energy music, followed by soothing, centering sounds will be used.

Tabata training is one of the most effective forms of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), consisting of 8 rounds of high-power exercises in a specific 20-seconds-on, 10-seconds-off interval. It may only take 4 minutes to complete a Tabata circuit, but those 4 minutes may well push your body to its absolute limit.
Intervals will be interspersed with CORE strengthening sets, to bring you an all-over cardio, core, strength & fun experience.
Dive in and discover why deep-water fitness is so popular. This high-energy, deep-water class offers a full workout for all muscle groups and uses running intervals and TABATA sets for cardio conditioning.
Participants will use aqua barbells and noodles to strengthen and tone upper body and core muscles. A mid-section flotation belt is provided and must be worn in class.
Varied, high-energy music will be used to prepare you for an energized, full-body workout that is sure to rejuvenate!
